Zibaa means beautiful.
But to me, beauty has never been about something loud or extravagant. It has always been about the small details - the fall of a fabric, the patience in an embroidered thread, the quiet confidence of something made well.
Zibaa began from my own love for Indian craftsmanship. I grew up admiring the intricacy of our textiles and the skill of our karigars. Yet, I often felt that handcrafted clothing was reserved for occasions - something we wore sparingly, almost carefully.
I wanted to change that.
I wanted to create pieces that honour tradition but belong in everyday life. Pieces that feel rooted, yet effortless. Thoughtfully made, yet easy to wear.
Every design at Zibaa begins with a simple question:
Will this feel natural on a regular day?
We work closely with artisans across India whose skills have been shaped over generations. Their hands bring depth and character to every garment. No two pieces are identical - and that individuality is something I deeply cherish.
But I also believe tradition must evolve to stay alive. That is why we focus on clean silhouettes, comfortable fits, and designs that feel relevant today - not stuck in nostalgia.
Zibaa is my attempt to create a space where craftsmanship is not displayed from a distance, but lived in. Where beauty is subtle. Where heritage feels personal.
If you wear Zibaa, I hope you feel what I feel when I see a finished piece - a sense of quiet pride, of connection, of something made with care.
Thank you for being here, and for choosing thoughtfully.
With warmth,
Khushboo
